"To cater to buyers concerned with the financial and physical burdens of owning a cottage in a weak economy, a community of fractional-ownership cottages will be built on one of the largest clear lakes in Muskoka..."

Why the name Black Pebble?
There are a many thoughtful reasons which lead to the naming of this exciting fractional project on Lake of Bays. The name came about as a result of the desire to be different from the crowd of competitors and maintain the long-standing reputation and success of Muskoka’s Nor’Loch Lodge.
The Black Pebble, from day one, was designed to provide owners with a property aimed for personal luxury and to protect their interests throughout time.
The Black Pebble name reminds us of being one with nature: the warm log cottages, the tall pine property, the sparkling waters of Lake of Bays, the back yard proximity to Algonquin Park.
We are truly blessed to be here and be able to take advantage of every season. We have the hot summer days with cool nights; the blazing falls colours; the deep crisp winter snow from which the northern lights dance; and the promise of rebirth that comes with the spring.
Developer, Margaret Hanel, said the name Black Pebble reminds her of when she was on a beautiful white sand beach where, among the sea shells, was a black pebble. She thought that was as unique as the Black Pebble project.
